Providing & fixing G.I Metal stud as framework for Partitions / Paneling of any shape and dimension, using 48x34x36mm channel fixed to floor and ceiling using 50mm channel. Framework to be placed at 610mm C/C. Horizontal members wherever required to provide as per manufacturer's specs, using Gypsteel sections, hardwood will be inserted as may be required to fix door frames skirting etc. Quote only for framework.   All components to be of India Gypsum.

BOQ OF 100mm THICK GYPSUM BOARD PARTITION

Providing & fixing 100 mm thk Gypsum board partition of any shape - constructed using GI metal stud as framework @ 610mm c/c and fixed with two layers of 12.5mm tapered edge gypsum plaster board on either side of the G.I. Framework, uisng dry wall screws, jointed and finished with requisite filler, paper tape, finisher and primer suitable for gypsum plaster boards. Partition to have glass wool insulation of density 48 kg/cum wrapped neatly in bags as per approval. The outer skin shall be finished with 2/3 coats of acrylic emulsion paint with approved primer, all as per approval. All components to be of India Gypsum.

How to prepare BOQ for Modular glass partition?

BOQ OF MODULAR GLASS PARTITION

Supply & Installation of Full Height Glass Partition System of 10mm toughened glass with proprietary slim line partition systems of as per Manufacturers specification as verticals and horizontals at top and bottom with option for installing glass & glass to glass joint using aluminum T profile with other required accessories from FFL to 2400mm as per the drawing. and instructions of the Architects.

 

TYPE-1: Providing & fixing TOUGHENED glass partition made of 10mm thk glass and fixed with slim anodized profile on all sides as per approval. Glass to glass joints should be properly grinded and have AL. PROFILE as per approval.

 

TYPE-2: To supply and install Single glazed partition with a tested sound reduction property of Rw 36Db

Note: Vendor needs to be physically tested and ensure nil transmission of sound for all partitions with certification from PMC/Brigade FM team as required.

Modular Partition System with 10 mm toughened glass

Fabricating and fixing of glazed partition with proprietary anodized aluminium profile 40x25mm,1.5mm thick gauge, 10-15 micron anodised, all around with 10mm thick clear toughened glass as per details. Height of the glass to be 2600mm. Rate Includes supply & Installation of 10 mm toughened glass from FFL to +2600mm. including intermediate profiles wish necessary 'T' Sections wherever required.

The glass to be butt jointed with 2 to 3 mm edge chamfer & edge polishing all around. Distance between two butt jointed glass panels not to exceed 4mm. Glass between profiles shall be fixed with 3m clear tape. The frame all-round shall be fixed with acoustic tape to get proper acoustic. Vendor to physically show the DB levels achieved at site. Edges and grooves between glass panels to have profiles as per manufacturers standards.

How to prepare BOQ for G.I framework (GYP board partition) (GP) -100MM THK solid partition?

BOQ OF G.I FRAMEWORK (GYP BOARD PARTITION) (GP) -100MM THK SOLID PARTITION

OPTION-1: Providing & fixing G.I. (India Gypsum make) framework for partitions with vertical members at 600mm C/C formed out of 37.5mm X 50mm thick G.I sections of Gypsum India make with horizontal member at the floor & soffit etc. complete as per detail dwg. & Manufacturers specification.

GI framework to be cladded with 2 layers of 12.5mm thick perforated gypsum skinning on either side of the framework using propriety supplied screws at every 300mm center to center. The gypsum skinning is finished using proprietary supplied jointing tape & jointing compound as per manufacturer's specification."

Contractor to make provision for fixing all electrical, networking boxes formed out of 12mm thick ply boxing screwed onto partition framework at required heights/levels as directed.

"Providing and fixing of Accoustic2 Hr Fire rated insulation in Electrical and Server Room Dry Wall Partition with GI frame 50mm x 75mm covering with two layers of 12mm thick Gyproc’s® Fireline Board insulating rock wool (45kg/cum) and necessary jointing arrangement as per Architectural Design

Detailed specs

Framework to be formed out of 70mm Gypsteel ULTRA™ C stud (0.5mm thick having one flange of 34mm and another flange of 32mm made of GI Steel). Studs are placed at 610mm centre to centre in 70mm Gypsteel ULTRA™ floor and ceiling channel (0.5mm thick have equal flanges of 32mm made of GI steel). Floor and ceiling channel are anchored to the floor & ceiling slab using suitable anchor fasteners at 600mm c/c in zigzag manner. 15 mm thick Gypsum board strip of 70mm width is placed between ceiling channel and ceiling slab to improve fire performance of the system. Stud and floor channel are crimped together by using crimping tool. An 80mm Gypsteel ULTRA™ noggin channel (0.5mm thick having two flanges) is to be fixed using Gyproc® Metal to Metal flat head screws at the horizontal joints of the boards.

Cladding

Partition framework to be cladded on both sides with 2 layer of 12.5mm thick Gypboard (FIRE RATED) in line and level screw fixed with drywall screws @ 300mm c/c with staggered joints to avoid through joints and finished with proprietary supplied jointing tape and compound as per manufacturer's specification. Joints to be sand papered to achieve a smooth and seamless finish. Quoted rate to include the cost of aluminium corner beading concealed from Gyproc or PAN make or Equivalent. Refer Drawing.

Infill:

As an acoustic requirement, contractor is to consider partition frame cavity to be packed with 25mm thick Rockwool blanket of density 45kg/m³ suitably affixed to partition framework using GI binding wire and duct tape."
