ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES GENERAL FOREMAN OF CONSTRUCTION SITE

 

General Foreman

He is responsible to the Agent or Project Manager for:

·       Organising the workforce

·       Making sure that work complies with the specification

·       Keeping work to programme

·       Making sure that plant, operatives and materials are available where and when required and are not wasted

·       Making sure that work is done safely

·       Monitoring performance of subcontractors

·       Appreciating conditions of subcontractors

·       Maintaining a written record of works.
