Door Provide access to the building and to the different parts of
the building and to deny it access whenever necessary. The number of doors must

TYPES OF DOORS
Different
types of doors are used, which can be categorized according to the arrangement
of shutters, the method of construction, the operating principles and the
materials used. The most commonly used doors are briefly described below:
FRAMED AND PANELLED DOORS
This type of door has vertical elements, called panels,
and horizontal elements, called rails. The styles and rails are suitable for
obtaining panels. Wood panels, A.C. Sheets, glasses, etc. The panels can be
flat or raised to get a good look. They can be the single or double shutter. The
image shows a sort of panel door. If glass panels are used, they can be called
glass doors.
FLUSH DOORS
The shutters of these doors are made of plywood or
wooden boards. They are of uniform thickness. These brackets are available with
different attractive veneer results. The time it takes to produce such doors on
the site is very limited. These doors are suitable for the interior of a
building.
USED: Residential And Office Buildings. (INTERIOR)
LOUVERED DOORS
This
doors can be used whenever privacy and ventilation are required. Louvres are glass,
wood or AC. The strips of the sheet are fixed on the shutter frame to block the
view but allow the air to go free.

REVOLVING DOORS
It
has a centrally placed hub in which four radiation shutters are attached. The
bottom of the centre pivot is supported by the ball bearing and the top has a
push bearing. The brackets may be partially or completely mirrored. The
circular space of the gateway is provided in which the brackets rotate. When
the brackets are rotated they give the entrance to one side and exit to the
other.

This
type door placed where you need to be used regularly. They are much needed at
the entrance of refrigerated public buildings.

SWING DOORS
The
swing door has its shutter attached to the frame by twin action springs. So the
shutter can move inward and outward. They can be single shutter or double
shutter. Since these doors can be opened on either side, it is desirable to
provide glass panels or bellows to the user to see the other side of the
persons

BATTEN AND LEDGE DOORS
Batten
are wooden boards with a width of 100mm to 150mm and a thickness of 20mm. Their
length opens the door. The battens are connected by horizontal boards called
ledges that are 100 to 200 mm wide and 30 mm thick. Usually, three ledges are
used, one at the top, one at the bottom and the third at the middle. This is
the simplest form of door and cheap.
BATTEN, LEDGE
AND BRACED DOORS
If
the doors are wide apart from the use of batons and ledges, braces are provided
to strengthen the door.

SLIDING DOORS
In this type of door, the
shutter sides slide. Runners and guide rails are provided for this purpose.
Sliding brackets may be one, two or even three.
USED: banks
and offices.
COLLAPSIBLE DOORS
Steel channels 16 to 20 mm wide are used vertically.
They are placed 12 to 20 mm apart. Steel flats with 16mm to 20mm width and 5mm
thickness are attached to them. The cylinders are supplied on their top and
bottom so that they can pull the shutter or push it sideways with little force.
There may be single or double brackets.

ROLLING SHUTTERS
It has a frame, a drum and
a blind made of thin steel plates. The shutter moves on the supplied steel
guides and can be easily rolled up. width of the door can vary from 2 to 3 m. This
counterweight is produced by coil springs on the drum. You can easily lower the
shutter.
