WORK BREAKDOWN STRUCTURE (WBS)
WBS is described as a hierarchical structure, designed to logically separate all project work items into a graphical presentation. The full work objective for the project is placed at the top of the map, then subdivided into smaller components at each lower level of ventilation. The components of the task at the lowest level of the WBS are called the task set. A list of project activities is generated from the work package.
The effective use of WBS will describe the scope of the project and the responsibility of each work package. There is not necessarily a correct or incorrect structure because what can be an excellent option for one discipline can be an uncomfortable burden for another. To see the WBS, consider the image showing the house construction project.
