STEP 1:Excavation Of Earth Work In Trenches For Foundation. As Per Plan

STEP 2:Filling With Cement Concrete For 4” To 6” At The Ratio Of 1:4:8

STEP 3:Marking Center Position For Placing Steel Mat

STEP 4:Placing Cover Block Steel Mat

STEP 5:Placing Steel Mat At Center (75mm Least Gap For Steel Mat)

STEP 6:Column Frame Work Is Placed On Center Position

STEP 7: Placing Form Work Around Steel Mat

STEP 8:Pouring Concrete Over Form Work

STEP 9:P.C.C Poured Over Levelled Surface For Preparation Of R.C.C Trapeziodol

STEP 10:Removing Form Work

STEP 11:Placing Column Shoe & Pouring Concrete Over It

POINTS TO REMEMBERED FOR EACH STEP FOR CONSTRUCTING THE FOUNDATION


STEP 1:Excavation Of Earth Work In Trenches For Foundation. As Per Plan
Size of excavation based on the size of the column and how many floors in the building
STEP 2:Filling With Cement Concrete For 4” To 6” At The Ratio Of 1:4:8
This is the first layer of foundation over the soil and is also called as mud matt and 4”–6” thick. In your case above it is plain cement concrete (PCC) of mix 1:4:8(1Cement: 4 Sand: 8 stone Aggregates). and we should use a minimum 40mm aggregate
STEP 3:Marking Center Position For Placing Steel Mat
Mark the centre position (L/2) with chalk powder for placing steel mat
STEP 4:Placing Cover Block Steel Mat
Clear cover for reinforcement should not be less than 2″ for footing or specified in the drawing. Make sure it is maintained properly in all around the reinforcement.
STEP 5:Placing Steel Mat At Center (75mm Least Gap For Steel Mat)
Placing steel mat at the center position. We should provide at least 75mm gap from the soil. And use minimum 12mm rod for making steel mat
STEP 6:Column Frame Work Is Placed On Center Position
Minimum 12mm steel bar should be used along with 8mm for stirrups. Use 40d for development length
STEP 7: Placing Form Work Around Steel Mat
Use shuttering oil over the formwork for smooth removal. and check for clear cover placed in between the mat and formwork
STEP 8:Pouring Concrete Over Form Work
We should use 1:2:3 ratio concrete In making concrete strong, these ingredients should usually be mixed in a ratio of 1:2:3:0.5 to achieve maximum strength. That is 1 part cement, 2 parts sand, 3 parts gravel, and 0.5 part water.
STEP 9:P.C.C Poured Over Levelled Surface For Preparation Of R.C.C Trapeziodol
Again we should use the same ratio 1:2:3 for making trapezoidal. This process is made for adding more strength to column
STEP 10:Removing Form Work
We should remove formwork after 12hrs of curing
STEP 11:Placing Column Shoe & Pouring Concrete Over It
Its been made for giving support to column formwork. It should be least 3” in thick
STEP 12:Removing Column Shoe & Placing Column Form Work
25mm Clear cover should be placed in between column formwork and column frame  
STEP 13:Concrete Poured Over Form Work
Again we used 1:2:3 mix ratio for this. and we should use 20mm sized aggregate for this work
STEP 14:Removing Form Work After 12 Hrs
We should remove the formwork after 12 hrs of proper curing
STEP 15: Level The Ground By Mud
Finally, we should refill the area with mud
